An old man was sitting all alone
Humming a tune at a soft, low tone.
His face was wrinkled, his hair was white,
And yet his eyes seemed so new and bright.
His eyes had seen many times my age
But yet kept the twinkle of a sage.
There was something about his face
That simply made me gaze and gaze.
"I will sit down with you," I said.
"Tell me something for kindness sake.
How have you kept the joy still in your eyes?
Please share the secret that will make me wise."
His words have remained etched in my mind.
They are sayings of the wisest kind.
"ALL THAT COMES I MAKE THE MOST OF IT.
ALL THAT GOES I MAKE THE LEAST OF IT."

Enlightening saying. I always brood over things which I dont get. I think I should make the best out of things which I have and let go of things which do not come to me. Wise saying.
Indeed, there is profound wisdom in those words. Your Dhamma understanding and practice and constant contemplation will one day make your mind see things in a new light ... one born out of clarity and freedom. Then mental tranquility, peace and equanimity grow and grow in you.
Contemplate on the wisdom of this :
Lightness comes when there is a 'Letting Go'.
Peace comes when there is a 'Letting it be when it has to be!'
Sadhu!
Such an enlighting phrase, is seems to be letting go of the past,
putting down all the stress of the life then peace will come...
