Wesak Aspirations and Resolutions

I shall strive to ...

* have my mind become more trained and controlled .
* grow in my compassion and wisdom .
* eradicate the mental defilements that can propel me

into the woeful states.
* lead a life of good charity, generosity and service to others .

* overcome negative states of mind such as attachment, worry, fear, restlessness, ill-will, conceit and hatred .

* live virtuously and mindfully.

* practice Dhamma diligently so that I will be a more

spiritually cultivated person when I leave the world.
