The Buddha Says 13 ...

Old Age
The golden chariots of kings shatter.
So also the body turns to dust.
But the spirit of purity is changeless
And so the pure instruct the pure
.
Dhammapada 11 : 151
Reflection
* When we realize the transiency of life, that life is uncertain but death certain, we
# begin to 'let go' - our attachments to people, possessions and ego.
# begin to 'let go' - any ill-will, enmity or hatred ... we learn to forgive.
# would strive on to learn, understand, practice and see the Dhamma - the only thing that, in the final analysis, really matters ... the Truth that is timeless, sublime ... the Way that leads to perfect happiness, peace and freedom.
