The Buddha Says 16 ...

"Before long, alas! this body will lie upon the ground, cast aside, devoid of consciousness, even as useless charred log."
Dhammapada 3 : 41
Reflection
* Reflecting on the fleeting nature of the body, shouldn't one wisely realize the urgency of Dhamma practice ... to practice ardently DANA, SILA and BHAVANA.
* Life is uncertain, death is certain. When and How 'The Prince of Death' would come is uncertain though it's certain he would come ... Reflecting on this , one learns to let go of attachment to all the temporary and worldly things one has ... One learns to rid the mind of illwill, anger or hatred towards any being ... one learns to love and forgive ...
* This human life that we have is precious and the time we have is precious ... shouldn't one set aside time ( before it's too late ) to gain that TREASURE that really matters ... a mind state that is truly joyful, peaceful and free? MEDITATE.
