Wisdom From a Laugh 29

Ideal Relatives
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.
An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position.
As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the wife asked sarcastically, “Relatives of yours?”
“Yep,” the husband replied, “in-laws.”
Reflections
It does not pay to use harsh words, insults, slander or sarcasm upon another person when we are angry. We are likely to receive a reaction that can even hurt us more. We need to train to watch our minds which precede our verbal and bodily actions.
