The Buddha Says 32 ...

There are those who do not realize
that one day we all must die.
But those who do realize this
settle their quarrels.
Dhammapada Ch.1 Verse 6
Reflection
* When we realize that everything is impermanent or transient, we begin to let go of grudges, jealousy, illwill, anger and hatred against others. We begin to realize that holding on to such negative states would bring much suffering ... death levels everything.
* If we harbour negative thoughts or feelings towards others, our minds will be weakened and we will have more Dukkha.
* We need to learn to forgive others who have 'hurt', 'insulted' or 'wronged' us ... our minds then become lighter and more free.
* When one is completely rid of attachment, anger, hatred and delusion then one's mind is enlightened.
