The Buddha Says 6 ...
Though much he recites the Sacred Texts, but acts not accordingly, that heedless man is like a cowherd who counts others' kine. He has no share in the fruits of the Holy Life.
Dhammapada 1:19
Buddhism is not mere theoretical philosophy, but a unique Path of Enlightenment. It requires one to PRACTISE, PRACTISE and PRACTISE.
Dhamma Practice entails DANA ( Charity ), SILA ( Morality ) and BHAVANA ( Mind
Development ). Unless and until practice goes hand in hand with learning and understanding, the goal of Enlightenment will not be attained.
