The Buddha Says 10 ...

The fool is worried thinking 'I have sons, I have wealth.' Indeed, when he himself is not his own, whence sons? whence wealth?
Dhammapada V :62
Reflection
* We are not the owners of our material possessions,
our family members, our mundane achievements,
honor or glory ... we are not even the owners of our
bodies over which we have utterly no control ... they
grow, age, decay and die.
* What then is our true wealth, our true possessions,
our true heirs?
* Kamma is our true possession ... our true heirs, following us from life to life.
* When one understands, knows and sees this Dhamma Truth, then one resolves
to live a worthy life, a life enriched and powered by
1. DANA ( Generosity, Charity ) 2. SILA ( Morality )
3. BHAVANA ( Mental Development )
